2007 Returning from a week of Christian service in Lynchburg, VA from July 8 to 14, 2007 are in front row: Dot Reimel, Austin Dunham; 2nd row: Julie Boone, Cody Boone, Stephanie Monk; 3rd row: John Hill, Ashley Boone, Leah Martin; back row: Patti Kishbaugh, Gene Boone, Gary O'Neal, Mike Hess. ============================================== Each weekday from 8:00AM to 4:00PM, this team of willing workers, along with over 400 other teens and sponsors from all over the US, lent a helping hand to the elderly, disabled, and underprivileged folks in the Lynchburg, VA area. The workload included painting, building porches, decks and wheel chair ramps, interior work and general clean up. Gene served as a Trouble-shooter to several job sites, and Patti served as the Office Assistant on the volunteer camp staff. This is such a wonderful opportunity for our teen and their sponsors to grow and serve the Lord by following His example of serving others! You cannot possibly understand what a spiritual week this is until you've tried it for yourself!!! The mission team would like to say "THANK YOU" to our church family and friends for all the support . . . past, present and future as we prepare once again for another trip this summer to New Berlin, NY. ********************************* VBS 2007 This is the group of volunteers who helped
and the children who enjoyed Vacation Bible School in August, 2007.
The theme was "Splash". The children were divided by their ages
into three separate groups. During the course of the evening they
all participated in crafts, recreation and snacks, and most importantly,
the Biblical message. They also enjoyed visits by "Hermie and
Wormie".
